Welcoming drivers and visitors back to our cafés

On  the 17th May lockdown restrictions were updated allowing cafes to once again open their doors to guests. No time was wasted and we were thrilled to be able to welcome hundreds of  drivers and other customers back into our cafes and equally delighted to serve them on proper plates with real cutlery!

On the menu

As well as all your usual favourites we have a fantastic new breakfast deal on the menu. You get; bacon, sausage, egg, mushrooms, beans or tomatoes, hash brown, toast and tea or coffee for £6.95. It’s sure to satisfy a big appetite but if you’re not that hungry there is a Lite option and if meat isn’t your thing, we do a brilliant Vegetarian breakfast, both at £5.95. All served until 11.00am after which our famous All Day Breakfast takes over.

Keeping you safe

We have been serving takeaway food to key workers throughout lockdown so our staff are well practiced in managing the enhanced health and safety measures required during COVID.

Spaced-apart indoor tables support social distancing and, for maximum ventilation, we still have our outdoor tables. There is plenty of free hand sanitizer for guests, and contactless payment is encouraged. Also, in-line with Government policy, guests will need to wear masks when not seated and either check in with NHS track and trace, or provide contact details.

New look café at J.29

Our sites are being rebranded so visitors to Junction 29 will find the café has been updated with smart new décor, carpets and upholstery, the first of a number of improvements planned across our truckstops in the coming months.

So, next time you are visiting any of our truckstops, drop in to the cafe for a tasty home cooked meal and the warmest of welcomes.
