Avon Lodge Truckstop achieves Park Mark Freight award
We are delighted to announce that Onroute's Avon Lodge Truckstop has been granted the highly regarded Park Mark Freight award. Receiving the award demonstrates that Avon Lodge has achieved the highest standards of lorry parking as well as exceptional customer service.
Park Mark Freight has been created to help encourage higher standards of facilities and security at lorry parks and truck stops across the UK. The comprehensive assessment to achieve the award is managed by Police Crime Prevention Initiatives and the British Parking Association and is reviewed on an annual basis to ensure that standards remain high.
Having somewhere safe and secure to park up and spend the night is a top priority for drivers when choosing a truck stop. They also want clean, well-managed facilities and high quality service from their Truckstop provider. Receiving the Park Mark Freight award demonstrates that Avon Lodge has achieved the highest lorry parking standards as well as exceptional customer services.
Our next goal is to achieve this award across our entire network and our other truckstops will be assessed in due course.
Operations Manager, Alisdair Shearer said: “To achieve the Park Mark Freight award Avon Lodge had to pass a rigorous risk assessment of our facilities and services. These included, management and maintenance of the facility, ensuring appropriate levels of surveillance, lighting, signage, and cleanliness. We are delighted that Avon Lodge has been granted the Park Mark Freight award. Our next goal is to achieve this award across our entire network and our other truckstops will be assessed in due course.”
